Changes

Hello everyone. I write to you today while sit under the outdoor umbrella, the sun is shining, and my dog is communicating with the dog next-door. These things remain a constant. However, there are big changes on the horizon.

I changed my name. I want my own author page and in order to do so, I had to change my name so I would not be associated with another Lilian Vale who happens to write erotica. This is not my genre. For now on you will see me as Lilian C. Vale, unless, of course, I can’t get my own author page on Goodreads with this name, then I will have to change it to something else.

There are other changes taking place. I took a summer class at the local community college and I caught the school bug – meaning, I want to go back to school. I am officially enrolled in an online college to continue my bachelors in Industrial/Organizational Psychology. This degree will help me get into an HR position where I currently work. After my bachelors, I will pursue my masters degree and possibly my doctorate.

Along with this college, I will remain at the community college for the duration of fall, winter, spring, and summer. I am taking English classes with a focus on creative writing. Now, I am pretty damn creative, but I want to see how others go about being creative, and I can’t wait for this adventure.

The last change or upcoming event is a change in my cover for my next book, A Shot of Shorts: A Collection of Short Stories. I have to change my name on the cover while preserving the artwork provided by my sister who would like to remain anonymous. Here is her artwork. Leave a comment and let me know what you think. Below is a sample of some cover art made by Canva and my design skills.

I will have to add my new name and the continuation of the title.

Here is the second contender.

Once again, I will have to change my name.

Let me know what you think! A or B???

Let the changes begin!!

I want to thank you for reading, remaining loyal, and if you are new here, hello and thank you for following.

  1. Definitely B. And I totally get the dog communicating with the neighbour’s dogs bit, because mine does that too, lol. She can never keep quiet when she hears another dog’s barks. Thanks for sharing, btw!
