The Sting

There’s a certain sting in the air

The type that pulls a bear from his lair

A sting that wakes the beast from the tomb

A pierce that gives meaning to the wound

The sting rips my heart from its cage

It leaves me screaming in a rage

I find myself lifeless on the floor

My eyes roll as you skip out the door

The sting in the air tickles my skin

As I slowly let hate and fear seap in

I’ve missed a couple of days, but the effort is still here. Happy Tuesday. I hope you enjoyed.

Let it out... we are all listening.
